What to Expect
I will drive to your location by car at an agreed appointment time. I will bring all diving equipment and tools necessary for the work. I will inform you prior to the appointment if I will need access to working electrical and/or water hookups.
The total time for a hull cleaning will take around 2 hours which includes: Equipment set up - about 30 minutes, Hull cleaning - about an hour, and packing up - 30 min.
When working under a boat I practice a safety procedure known as ‘lockout/ tagout (LOTO)’ to ensure that the boat is not accidentally started while I am underwater. I will turn off and place ‘LOTO tape’ on the battery shutoff switch or ask that you place the boat key in my LOTO dry box. I will remove the tape/return your key once the work is complete.
I may need to temporarily secure lines to your boat’s cleats and/or dock pilings or other structures. These will be removed once work is complete.
For jobs that involve video footage I can, at your request, provide the raw footage to you on a duplicated SD card for an additional $20. I reserve the right to review the raw footage and to remove or 'blur out’ any footage or audio that contains my personal sensitive information prior to duplicating the footage.
